ME 203 Engineering Dynamics

The presentation of kinematics principles applied to particles and rigid body elements.  Analysis of forces and motion utilizing Newton's second and third laws of motion; theory of kinetics of particles and rigid body elements under rectilinear and curvilinear motion, vector methods; principles of work, energy and power; momentum and impact.  The course integrates the use of computer aided analysis and design tools such as Working Model so as to ensure relevance to the kinematics and dynamics problems.  (Prerequisite:  ME 201).
