1. Read all of the textbook sections listed in the syllabus. 2. Read through the example problems given in those text sections. 3. Read the exam problems very carefully. 4. Make sure you have an answer to match each item asked in the problem. 5. Box your answers to make them easy to find and to make step 4 easier for you. 6. You shouldn't need additional resources other than the text and handouts. 7. Show all of your work - especially intermediate steps - to get the most partial credit if you do have a mistake.
