Here are some of my latest projects at Fairield and at other institutions nationally.
Since 1996, I have led faculty development at three universities, and been invited
presenter at 30 conferences and a consultant to 15 institutions including
Harvard, Columbia and New York University. Currently associate director of the Center for Academic Excellence at Fairfield
University, I also teach
undergraduate philosophy and graduate curriculum and instruction. My studies ranged from engineering and
studio art to a Ph.D. in cultural studies and education at Teachers College,
Columbia University. My scholarship includes 6 peer reviewed
articles, 6 chapters
in books including The Colbert Report and
Philosophy, and a book I am authoring entitled Teaching for Transformation: Pathways and Pitfalls of Integrative
Learning.
