Currently associate director of the Center for Academic Excellence at Fairfield University, I also teach undergraduate philosophy and graduate curriculum and instruction. My studies ranged from engineering and studio art to a Ph.D. in cultural studies and education at Teachers College, Columbia University. My scholarship includes 6 peer reviewed articles, 6 chapters in books including The Colbert Report and Philosophy, and a book I am authoring entitled Teaching for Transformation: Pathways and Pitfalls of Integrative Learning.
