Dates and Deadlines

• March 15: postmark deadline to avoid $5/day late fee.
   
• March 18: Deadline to make hotel reservations at the (substantially) reduced meet rate. This rate may still be available after March 18, but the hotel could not guarantee it after this date.
   
• March 22: postmark deadline to avoid $10/day late fee.
   
• March 29 (evening): start times posted on web. Entries received after this time will be treated as day-of registrations. Day-of registrations are welcome, but with a $10/day late fee and without a guarantee of pre-printed maps--you may have to copy your map on-time.
   
• April 2, 7:00-9:00 PM: Packet pick-up at AmeriSuites hotel.
   
• April 3, 8:00-10:00 AM: packet pick-up at meet site; 10:00 AM first starts. PLEASE NOTE that we have moved the Saturday first starts to 10:00 AM to allow some breathing room for the afternoon auction and relay. Allow about 5 minutes to walk to start. (You can still pick up your packets after 10:00 AM, but you may need to ask around to find the registrar.)
   
• April 3, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM: Register for the afternoon relay anytime. Ask at the registration table for the sign up sheet, or look for Boris Granovskiy--he will be in charge of registrations for the relay.
   
• April 3, 2:00 PM (or shortly thereafter): Auction of  U.S. Team members. Don't miss this chance to rent a member of the U.S Team to run a leg for your relay team.
   
• April 3, 3:00 PM: Mass start for relay (non-sanctioned, fun event, fund raiser for U.S. Team).
   
• April 3, 6:30 PM: Dinner at restaurant close to hotel. Indicate on registration form that you would like to attend dinner.
   
• April 4,  9:00 AM first starts; little or no walk to start; awards as early as possible, hopefully by 1:00 PM.
