| Directions to Meet Site and Parking The Pond Mountain map is located in Kent, CT, in the northwest section of Connecticut, about 20 miles north of Danbury, CT and close to the New York state line. From almost any direction, the easiest way to reach Kent is to find your way to Rt. 7, which is a long road running north/south along the western side of Connecticut. (Rt. 7 runs from the southern coast of Connecticut, along the western borders of Connecticut and Massachusetts, and then continues up to Canada.) Once you get on Rt. 7, head north or south (we trust you can figure out which is right for you) towards Kent. From Rt. 7 in Kent, turn west on Rt. 341. After about 0.5 miles, look for O signs into the parking area.
