Day 1, 2007 Sprint Series Finals (A-meet sanctioned)

§         Date: Saturday, September 22, 2007

§         Location: Cranbury Park, Norwalk, CT

§         Map Information: 1:5,000, 3 meter contours

§         Mappers: originally mapped in 2005 by Neil Bostrom, updated in 2007 by Joe Brautigam

§         Terrain: Urban park with open fields, woodland groves, extensive trail network, Frisbee golf course, playground all centered around the 18th century Gallagher Mansion

§         Course setter: Joe Brautigam

§         Courses: More details to follow. Two sanctioned sprints with interval starts, awards on a combined time basis. There will be a third non-sanctioned, spectator-friendly, not-to-be-missed, forked/looped sprint for the top 6 men and 6 women only to determine the Sprint Series Champions.

Day 2, 2007 U.S. Relay Champs

§         Date: Sunday, September 23, 2007

§         Location: Osbornedale State Park, Derby, CT

§         Map Information: 1:10,000, 5 meter contours

§         Mappers: originally mapped in 1995 by Joe Brautigam, Tony Muffatti, updated in 2004 by Gari Williams

§         Terrain: Urban park with open fields, open woods with detailed topography and a network of trails.

§         Course setter: Peter Gagarin

§         Courses: We will use the same 4-person 4/8/12 point system that has been used in recent years.
