This course will be very different from any other "science requirement" course given at Fairfield University in that it has a laboratory component. Instead of a lot of talk about science in art, we want the student to do the science, to study light, color, pigments, and the other materials of art.
The laboratory is one of the most important parts of this course. It cannot be done for you nor will it be possible to make up missed experiments. In laboratory you only get credit for what you have done.
