Each student is personally responsible for reading carefully Chapter One on safety and laboratory practices.
Safety glasses or prescription glasses must be worn in the laboratory at all times.
Reports on each experiment are to be kept in a bound lab book.
Students should be familiar with the experiment they are to perform before entering the laboratory. There will ordinarily be a short quiz at the beginning of each period concerning the experiment to be performed.
Students are responsible for leaving the work areas they have used in a clean condition.
Any student having a disability that would cause difficulties in the performance of laboratory work should inform the instructor before the first day (check in).
