CALL FOR PAPERS

The
Ram's Horn
Guidelines for Authors
Research, results of lesson plans, testimonials and cogent musings on language learning or teaching, particularly regarding experiential and emotional aspects prized by the Rassias Method®, are all welcome in The Ram's Horn, a refereed journal. Manuscripts may be from 300 to 3,000 words in length and should be double- or triple-spaced with 1" margins. Submissions should be in a recent version of Word (v.6 through v.11, Word 2003) on a 3.5" diskette, CD-ROM, or sent by electronic mail. Please mention “Article for The Ram’s Horn” in the subject header for e-mail submissions. Submitted materials are not normally returned. If you submit your contribution in a more recent version of Word because of special charts, etc., please include a parallel version in Word 2003 or as a PDF file.
Authors should use MLA style. Please use endnotes and a “works cited” or “list of references” approach, as described in Chapter 5, Chapter 6 and Appendix B of the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers (Joseph Gibaldi, New York: The Modern Language Association of America, 6th edition, 2003, or more recent). In this format there are parenthetical citations within the main body of the manuscript (Gibaldi 238-239). Click on the following link if you would like to see a sample of a previous Ram’s Horn section for works cited and references. Please feel free to contact us regarding any questions on manuscripts in progress, themes for upcoming issues, or the incorporation of assessment data in reports on the effectiveness of the Method.
The final deadline for receipt of manuscripts is June 1, 2008. We anticipate publication of the next issue in the late fall of 2008.
Thanks for your interest in The Ram’s Horn!
