| These population projection were produced by the Population Division of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations Secretariat. They are from the 2004 Revision, the nineteenth round of official United Nations population estimates and projections. They are the first UN projections to use the results of the 2000 round of national population censuses. The historical data (1950 to present) were also obtained from the United Nation's World Population Prospects: The 2004 Population Database. |
