The Highline...Finally

There is nothing like 5 days in Central Florida to make you realize how much you love New York City, and there is perhaps no better reason right now to love New York City than The Highline. I’ve been waiting for a while for the “park in the sky” (a bloc from my home, natch) and it opened on Monday for the first time. I first “blogged” (ugh hate that term) about the Highline almost exactly a year ago. The park met my expectations and the architectural details are sublime. I posted a gallery of photos here. The photos, not to mention the park itself, is well worth a look.
